Angiotensin ii
Commonly used for Hypertension, Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Angina, Chronic Kidney Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease care depending on formulation and patient-specific indication. Track related symptoms such as Chest pain, Chest pressure, Shortness of breath, Leg swelling. Confirm exact indication, dosing, and safety information with official labeling or a clinician/pharmacist.
Irbesartan
Used for: Irbesartan tablets are an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1 ) Treatment of diabetic nephropathy in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes, an elevated serum creatinine, and proteinuria. ( 1.2 ) 1.1 Hypertension Irbesartan tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure.
Losartan
Often used for blood pressure, kidney protection, or cardiovascular care.
Losartan potassium
Used for: Losartan potassium tablets are an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: • Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure in adults and children greater than 6 years old. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. (1.1) • Reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. There is evidence that this benefit does not apply to Black patients.
Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide
Used for: Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are a combination of losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic indicated for: Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. ( 1.1 ) Reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy.
Sacubitril and valsartan
Used for: ENTRESTO is a combination of sacubitril, a neprilisin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and is indicated: to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adult patients with chronic heart failure. Benefits are most clearly evident in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) below normal.
Valsartan
Used for: Valsartan tablets are an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: Hypertension, to lower blood pressure in adults and children 1 year and older. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions ( 1.1 ) Heart failure (NYHA class II-IV), to reduce hospitalization for heart failure in adults ( 1.2 ) Post-myocardial infarction , for the reduction of cardiovascular mortality in clinically stable patients with left ventricular f.
